Welcome to North Huddersfield Trust School. I am delighted that your child is joining our learning community and look forward to providing the stepping stones for academic success and social development that help shape the person they are and the adult they become. The move to a new school will inevitably bring mixed emotions. It is a very exciting time but can also be, understandably, nerve-wracking. Rest assured that the quality of pastoral care at NHTS is second to none. Our year leaders and form tutors will ensure that, from the onset of their journey with us, all necessary support is given so that your child feels happy and safe.​ We also aim to provide the very highest quality of academic education. Teachers and classroom-based staff make use of excellent subject knowledge and all available resources to ensure that learning is engaging, challenging and tailored to meet the needs of all individuals. If students maintain a good attitude to learning and a commitment to improvement, there is an extremely high probability of success. This must be underpinned by excellent attendance, always being punctual and being highly organised; having a pen, pencil, ruler and other stationery is a requirement for all. I expect all students to wear our uniform with pride and come to school ready to learn every day.​
